Available as a self-pay procedure, vascular healthcare screenings are performed with Ultrasound on the abdominal, carotid and peripheral arteries. The cost is just $75.00, and no order from your provider is required.

Vascular healthcare screenings are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or other insurance plans. Reports will be available for pick up or faxed to your provider on record within 24 hours.

You should be screened if you have any of the following risk factors:

• Family history of vascular disease, aneurysm, heart attack or stroke
• History of smoking
• Men age 45+ / Women age 55+
• High blood pressure
• Diabetes
• High cholesterol levels

Ultrasound exams are non-invasive and do not use ionizing radiation. Because images are captured in real-time, they can show the blood flowing through blood vessels.
